Superb Victorian Solid Mahogany Extending Dining Table — F & J Smith No. 02775. An exceptional example of 19th-century design, this Victorian extending table is crafted from solid mahogany and remains in excellent condition, bearing only minor historical marks in keeping with its age and use. The top displays beautiful colouration with striking graining, sitting perfectly flush when fully extended. Sturdy and elegant, the table stands on exquisitely turned bulbous legs, finished with brass and china castors for smooth movement and classic charm. It includes two additional leaves, extending to an impressive 238cm—ideal for larger gatherings. Without the leaves, it comfortably seats four and can accommodate up to eight guests when extended. Whether for everyday dining or celebratory occasions, this versatile piece delivers both style and substance.
