Description

This handsome mahogany fusee drop dial clock from the 19th century is in full working order, striking on a gong. The 12-inch dial, painted with Roman numerals, is safeguarded by the original brass bezel with bevelled glass. A hinged door beside the dial provides access to the movement, and another at the base allows for pendulum adjustments. While all antiques have their imperfections, this clock boasts a striking appearance with its warm colouring and remarkable patina, making it a very attractive addition to any wall.
