Description

Fabulous walnut credenza / display cabinet from the Victorian era decorated with quality ormolu mouldings and mounts. The veneered top boasts amazing graining and sits on a frieze edged with ormolu and decorated by delicate string inlay. The two bow front glazed doors to the side are decorated with additional string inlay and ormolu mounts. The interior of these are lined with a mustard satin fabric, pleated on the back and flat on the shelves. The central cupboard is lined in a burgundy velvet fabric. The fabric does show a bit of age related wear but could easily be replaced to suit individual taste. The intricate floral and string decoration, exceptionally well cast ormolu mounts exudes quality and class. An absolutely outstanding addition to any home. Comes with working key that works all three locks.
