Outstanding solid oak continental mirror back sideboard in excellent condition with a hand waxed finish. This superb sideboard splits into 5 sections, the base, the cornice with fantastic bear head carving and beautiful finals and 3 mirror sections making for easy transportation. The base has an amazing parquetry top with tree marble slides, three slim drawers, a central double door cupboard, flanked by a cupboard with two sliding trays and one with a single deep drawer. The cupboards have panelled doors with fabulous carvings of luxurious food items and flanked by superbly carved columns. This is an impressive piece with 3 bevelled edge mirror that will create the impression of a more spacious, brighter room. The two shelves on the side mirrors have amazing carved animal supports. Like all antiques there are some imperfections however nothing that will detract from this truly breath taken piece of antique furniture.
