Description

Superb Victorian mahogany adjustable table in untouched original condition. It is missing its book rests which stops the book from falling off when at an angle and the top has been sun bleached however these problems could be easily rectified. The table is supported by a beautifully turned column which stands on a banjo base and terminates on casters. The stand adjusts up and down, tilts forward and backwards and at its full height measures 110cm. Designed so the base would go under the bed and allow the top to go over the bed at the correct position for reading or eating. A versatile little table that is just as useful today as when it was made.
