Wonderful carved Japanese hardwood petal shaped pot stand / low table. Outstandingly carved around the edge of the top and frieze. The pierced apron is decorated with flowers with a Japanese symbol in the centre and units the five carved legs. The top of the legs have amazing carved faces of fierce Japanese warriors. A truly striking and versatile item that could be used as a stand, low table, coffee table etc in excellent condition for its age and use. It is of stable construction and can go straight into any home.
