Stunning French red Boulle tortoise shell mantel clock with scrolling bronze gilt ormolu mounts finished with floral vase to the top. It's decorative brass 4" dial has individual Roman numerals cartouches and sits above a viewing window showing the decorative pendulum. Extremely attractive mantel clock completely original in excellent condition and working perfectly with an eight day French movement striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong with makers stamp Japy Freres
