Description

Superb Victorian snap top/ loo table originally designed for the card game loo, which was also known as lanterloo, which was a extremely popular Victorian parlour game that the middle and upper classes played on such tables. The beautifully carved quadroform pedestal and the superbly grained burr walnut quartered veneers suggest that this has been made by a cabinet maker of considerable skill. A gorgeous table not only practical for use but if you don't have much space it tilts and can be stored nicely in the corner of the room and with that striking top it will look absolutely stunning.
