A striking antique Victorian pedestal writing desk of generous proportions and of excellent construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers has an inverted break front and is fitted with a new gilt-tooled, black hide writing surface. 3 frieze drawers with twin wooden bun handles sits on twin pedestals with shelved cupboards with beautiful crossbanding and carving on the doors, raised on a plinth base. The superb quality burr walnut has a beautiful warm colour with a great patina. The desk is in fabulous condition and ready to go straight into the home or office.
