Description

Lovely early Victorian papier mache and leather cheroot holder with painted portrait of a lady to the front cover and in gilt lettering ‘James Lister’, presumably the original owner.
The lacquered reverse cover is decorated with a pattern of gilt circles and the leather sides are of expanding concertina design so will fold flat when empty.
In good antique condition with a couple of tears to the leather and a couple of star cracks to the lacquered reverse side.
