Description
John Boyne late 18th century watercolour of figures by a castle in a lakeside landscape. Signed ‘J Boyne’ lower centre left.Boyne was born in County Down and moved to England where he worked as an engraver, watercolour artist and caricaturist. He exhibited at the Royal Academy 18 times between 1788 and 1809.
Mounted, framed and glazed in a gilt wood frame.
