Description

Walnut writing desk, of kidney shape, profusely inlaid in satinwood with a Greek key design, the top with a central raised superstructure, with cast brass gallery, above a hinged sloping surface with inset green leather, enclosing an arrangement of pigeon holes. Flanked by conforming leathers to each side. The frieze with two short drawers. All raised up on twin turned and fluted pillars and carved arched feet, united by a turned and fluted stretcher.
