French kingwood & rosewood marquetry Louis XV Revival secretaire a cylinder which is decorated throughout with beautiful floral marquetry. The decorative subject matter includes amarquetry panel of birds together with musical instruments, all carried out to the highest of standards with exotic woods and presented on a rosewood background, this being located in the centre of the cylinder. On the top of the bureau you will note there is a very nice inset Marmo di Carrara marble top which features a gilt brass three quarter gallery.The cylinder opens to reveal a fitted interior with four small drawers and a pull out blue leather writing surface.Located below the cylinder you will find three small drawers above a single full width drawer.All raised up on slender cabriole supports with brass sabots.
