Description

A charming pair of finely modelled and cold painted bronze figures, depicting a cock pheasant and a pea hen, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Typical of the celebrated Vienna foundries, each piece is beautifully cast in solid bronze and finished with vibrant hand-painted enamels, capturing lifelike plumage and naturalistic detailing.

Both figures are stamped “FB” to the underside — a mark associated with quality Austrian craftsmanship.
• Cock pheasant: Height 5 cm, Length 9 cm
• Pea hen: Height 3 cm, Length 9 cm

In very good condition, with only light age-related wear to the paint consistent with age and display. A delightful decorative pair and a fine example of Vienna bronze artistry.

Ideal for collectors of miniature bronzes or for elegant display in a cabinet or desk setting.
