Description

A finely cast Austrian cold painted bronze figure of a bulldog, dating from the early 20th century, in the manner of Franz Bergman. This charming sculpture depicts a stocky bulldog in a naturalistic pose, beautifully detailed and finished in original hand-applied polychrome enamels that capture the animal’s character and texture with great skill.

The bronze is mounted on a rectangular stone base, giving the piece an elegant and stable presentation.
