Set of four Anglo - Indian / Burmese Chairs

Description
A striking set of four Anglo-Indian chairs, beautifully hand-carved in solid rosewood, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Each chair features intricately pierced backrests with flowing foliate and scroll motifs, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship typical of Anglo-Indian furniture of this period. The elegant cabriole legs and carved aprons further enhance their decorative appeal, making them ideal as statement pieces in both traditional and eclectic interiors.
These chairs are in usable condition with care but are being sold as restoration projects. There is visible wear to the upholstery and general age-related wear throughout, consistent with their age. They would benefit from reupholstering and some general restoration to bring them back to their full potential.
Price reflects condition and offers a chance to acquire a rare and characterful set at a competitive level.
