Description

A decorative early 20th century Chinese four-fold screen, the black lacquer panels finely embellished with hardstone inlays depicting flowering branches, birds, and vases of precious objects. Each panel bordered with delicate gilt-painted chinoiserie motifs, the reverse decorated with gilt linework of floral arrangements and landscape vignettes. A striking and elegant decorative piece, suitable for use as both a room divider and statement interior feature.
