A charming 19th century reproduction of a 17th century carved oak wainscot chair, distinguished by its small and rare size. Crafted in solid oak, this antique armchair features a high back with ornate gothic-style carved panel, shaped scroll arms, and turned front legs united by traditional stretchers. The rich, dark patina enhances its period character and aged charm.

This decorative country house chair is ideal for hallways, studies, or as a statement accent piece.

In very good condition with minor wear consistent with age. A fine example of English oak furniture inspired by the 17th century Jacobean period.
