Unusual gilt torchère with ram’s heads. The piece is gilt, with carved decoration underneath the top section, finishing in an acorn. The legs are carved and stand on hooves with lead inserts to make the piece more stable. The width between the feet is 56 cm, and the top is 31 cm wide.DateLate 19th Century :
