Description

This sheet brass candlestick was made in Scandinavia around 1670 for the rich European market who were lighting up in so many way`s in this period . This is made of beaten sheet brass and artistically punch decorated from the back . called repouse work, now very rare, they were copied in the arts and crafts movement of around 1880. but this is a rare survivor from the 17th century.
