Description
A Regency tent top leather clad sewing box from circa 1820's. Has original floral ormolu fittings, side handles, feet, escutcheons and key. The mirror inside is dim, the leather faded and scratched in places. All lined with turquoise paper and similar silk, the needlebook with original colour. Pin for locking the drawer beneath.Measures 7 1/2" x 5 1/4" x 5". Very charming.
