Description

A Chinese gaming box with gilt decoration on black lacquer. It measures 11 1/2″ x 10 1/4″ x 2 1/4″. Lift up the top lid to reveal five individual boxes for gaming counters and cards. The whole box surface is decorated in geometric borders surrounding gilt floral panels to the top and to the interior small boxes. All hand painted in minute detail on close inspection. Expect some rubbing to the lid top and corners as would be expected in an item of this age. The boxes inside have very little wear.
