A 19th Century African Zulu knobkerrie or hunting club, carved from dark hardwood, having a fluted oblate head, and hide-bound short staff with decorative wirework collars, 32.5 cm, with provenance owned by Mr and Mrs Gardner they became Quaker missionaries on Pemba Island in 1899
