A floral watercolour and decorative pewter frame, c 1890

This fine watercolour is a still life study of colourful flowering nasturtiums It is displayed in a most unusual Aesthetic movement with a heavy cast deep relief pewter frame decorated with assorted flowers and insects.

This very decorative polished pewter frame is signed in cast letters on the reverse. Modele Depose.

It is in good condition with a replacement wire for hanging.
