Description

This superb group of three Doulton Lambeth Carrara Ware miniature vases are finely potted and beautifully painted. They consist of a pair of left and right handed baluster shaped vases which are elegantly finished with twin handles and a flared neck. The centre piece of the garniture is a single matching vase which is of bulbous form with a tall slender neck and twin handles. All three of these fine pieces are beautifully hand painted with floral displays and ferns which have been outlined in brown and have highlighted sections decorated in raised coloured enamels, turquoise, green and white and finished with bright gilt bands and lines. These pieces are very rare in this miniature scale and Carrara Ware was only produced in limited numbers over a short period of years during the 1890s. All three vases are in perfect condition.
