Description

A unusual set of four tole cattle exhibition name plates in the original paint for prize cows who were exhibited by Robert Jardine Paterson of Balgray Home Farm, Lockerbie, Scotland. In 1924 Joan VI of Scroggiehall was a silver medal winner -
'4th No. 229 Paterson, Robert Jardine, Balgray Home Farm, Lockerbie, Heifer, “Joan 6th of Scroggiehall” (28,801).'
The names are: Joan VI of Scroggiehall, Agnes XII of Scroggiehall, Patience of Balgray and Logan Lady VII.
