Superb quality Edwardian flame mahogany chest on chest (c.1910) in the George lll style.
Intricate blind fretwork decorates the frieze and side edges of the top chest with two over three drawers, whilst the lower chest incorporates a glove slide above three wider drawers, all supported on bracket feet. The drawer handles with back plates and matching key escutcheons are in elegant patinated brass which elevates this piece to a fine, unrestored antique in excellent condition throughout.
Item has been fully treated for historic woodworm that was evident on internal plywood areas.
