Description

Original chromolithographic Pears Soap prints titled: “A Merry Christmas” (1907) and “A Winter’s Morning” (1908), both after water colour drawings by Frank Dadd, R.I., (1851-1929) featuring brightly coloured scenes of people in Victorian period costume skating on a frozen lake in the case of A Merry Christmas and riders meeting before the hunt on A Winter’s Morning.
In matching glazed and gilded, decorative frames with minor patches of red bole here and there on frame of (1908), with very small loss on frame of (1907), but otherwise in extremely good vintage condition with no signs of fading or foxing.
