Description

A pair of Louis XV style French fauteuils /open armchairs of polished beechwood with green leather upholstery – believed early 1900s. The chairs have decoratively carved flowers and leaves on the beechwood frames with green leather and brass studding throughout the shield backs, padded arm rests and seats. Raised on cabriole legs, the chairs are also very comfortable having the additional benefit of full leather, seat cushions over a leather-bordered seat base.
These chairs are ready to enhance any interior being structurally very sound with no loose joints and in excellent vintage condition with the leather having a nice patina and only minor creasing commensurate with light usage.
