A 1960s/1970s oak and black leather suite of lounge furniture comprising a low-back 3 seater sofa with matching armchair, ottoman (foot stool) and a substantial rectangular, low oak coffee table featuring tusk or keyed mortice and tenon joints.The oak frames have slatted backs and strap bases with quality, buttoned black leather that is in excellent vintage condition and, although unattributed, this extremely attractive suite is similar in style to some Brazillian modernist designs from the likes of Percival Lafer, Jean Gillon, Sergio Rodrigues and Jorge Zalszupin.
