Perhaps more widely known today for his dining chair designs, this 1959 Danish teak coffee table standing proudly square with a strong central stretcher supporting the undershelf, was designed by Jorgen Baekmark whilst head of the design studio for FDB Mobler and which bears the brand mark and date - FDB Mobler Made in Denmark 59 10 1.A robust table still in excellent condition, echoing the clean and uncluttered lines of the Bauhaus movement – particularly suitable for positioning as a corner table or between seating.
