Designed in the mid-20th century by Ole Wanscher (1903-1985) for Poul Jeppesen, this mahogany open armchair is in superb original condition with oatmeal coloured woven wool fabric on the seat and back cushion – merely professionally updated with new foam inserts. Labelled and known as the model PJ112, this exquisitely elegant design with a slender, curved and tactile framework is a modern classic and beautiful example of Scandinavian minimalism at which Ole Wanscher truly excelled.DateRetro :
