Description

Designed by Johannes Andersen for Udlum Mobelfabrik in the 1960s, a set of four very attractive teak dining chairs with inset black wool upholstery, together with a Danish teak pedestal extending dining table. Andersen was noted for his use of curving lines and bevelled edges, and these chairs are a classic example of his design skills.
Sourced together, although the table is unattributed, the teak veneered surface is equally attractive with a beautifully shaped solid teak edge. The table extends from a circle to an oval form completing what is a very pleasing mid-20th century Scandinavian dining set.
