Dating from the 1950s, this iconic and desirable pair of EA 116 lounge armchairs deigned by Ray & Charles Eames, produced (number stamped and labelled) by Herman Miller are constructed in light aluminium on a four-branched swivelling stand with aluminium arms and the original ergonomic, ridged hopsack upholstery in a deep mustard colour.These chairs are in exceptionally good vintage condition with minimal wear to the upholstery fabric although one arm shows some peeling of the lacquer coating (see photo).
