Description
1920s Waring & Gillow walnut desk in the style of a Georgian lowboy, raised on cabriole legs with pad feet featuring fan carved detail at the knee on both front and back so the desk can be positioned anywhere in the room. With three solid oak freize drawers (plus key) fronted in burr walnut veneer and brass swan-neck handles. The writing surface is a mid-brown leatherette with some losses to the gilt tooling.DateGeorge V :
