Description

A rare 1960s Danish walnut highboard raised on brass cupped legs and comprising a slightly bow-fronted form with a tambour top cupboard and very attractively shaped handles, enclosing a shelf and two small drawers featuring a band of beautiful inlay. The lower section comprises four central drawers (again with curved wooden handles) flanked by lockable cupboards each with two further shelves. Both the tambour cupboard and the central drawers have notably attractive curved wooden handles. This cabinet is a real statement piece of craftsmanship and a very stylish piece of mid-20th century furniture in excellent condition.
