Description

Designed for Rolf Benz by Christian Werner (b. 1959 Berlin) to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the company and to similarly reflect the current advancement in furniture design as that experienced in the early 1960s.
A two-seater sofa in an instantly recognisable form with a rectangular slab-shaped seat and backrest cushions covered in superb quality tan leather, raised on a chromed steel frame with a walnut shelf.
The cushions can be simply hung into position anywhere along the full-length shelf providing alternative seating configurations, and the main seat slab can be pulled forward on internal rollers to transform the sofa into a day bed or guest bed to fulfil the versatile requirements of present-day lifestyles.
