Description
A completely original pair of open armchairs designed in the 1950s by the Danish designer, Grete Jalk (1920-2006), produced and stamped by Glostrup Møbelfabrik. This pair of teak chairs are of the same very elegant and a sought after, stylish design as the single chair (available separately) plus the rare added feature of detachable headrests.The teak frames have distinctively shaped, slatted backs, beautifully sculpted arms and turned legs with buttoned cushioning covered in the original burnt orange, woven wool fabric, which continue to provide very comfortable seats all of which are in excellent condition.
Dimensions. H 39”/ 100cm, W 28½”/ 73cm, D 25½”/ 65cm, SH 15¾”/ 40cm.
