Description

This two-seater leather sofa forms part of a Model 125 Suite designed by Sigurd Resell for Vatne Møbler, Norway. Labelled and featuring the very distinctive detail in the stitching (often described as baseball style stitching) of the attractive and high-quality brown buffalo leather which, apart from two minor marks to one arm ( see photo ) is in immaculate, pristine condition. Raised on the original dark wooden legs which match the two armchairs, listed separately, and together form a very rare, extremely comfortable and iconic suite of mid-20th century Scandinavian furniture at its best.
