Description
Delightful pair of Arts & Crafts paintings in oil on board after William Stephen Coleman (1829 - 1904) They are The Goldfish Bowl and Watering the Flowers. They have survived well and maintain beautiful rich colour and are original copies painted into carved frames.Copies of these Coleman paintings were made into prints to advertise their soaps.
The frames measure 86cms x 50cms and the paintings are 71cms x 39cms. Minor chips to the edge of The Goldfish bowl.
His use of deeply coloured carpets in the background make these really vibrant and would add character and colour to any room.
