Description

Arts & Crafts Liberty & Co Leatho fire screen. These screens were made by Leatho for Liberty & Co to resemble leather are often described as such as it has been done so well. In fact it is vellum pressed over papier mache and and this one is embossed with lovely leaves and berries. It bears the Leatho label to the reverse.
The pegged oak frame has a pierced leaves to the gallery.
Offered in good condition with a slight curve to panel.
