Description

Stunning Arts & Crafts copper over mantle adorned with fabulous repousse work of leaves and fruit attributed J & F Pool in their early days as Cornish Hand Wrought Copper, a company acquired by their father,
James Tinman Pool at Copperhouse, Hayle in Cornwall.
This has been lacquered as most of their work was at that time so offered in excellent original condition with bevelled edged mirror plate. It is possible to highlight the fruit if desired with a little gentle rubbing.
The frame measures 89.5cms high. The width is 106cms. The glass measures 58cms x 73cms.
