Description

A full set of eight volumes of The Book of the Home with covers attributed to a design by Talwin Morris. Each volume has a coloured front page and numerous other drawing in black and white.
Written as a guide to house keeping and house management around 1900. The images are showing the bindings much lighter than they are as they are a dark green. Lovely sweeping stylised peacock feathers adorn these jackets.
They measure 25cms x 18cms x 2.5cms.
The condition is generally good with no missing pages, just one is loose. Some age discolouration as to be expected.
Perfect to brighten up any bookcase.
