Description

Arts & Crafts copper casket made by J & F Pool of Hayle in Cornwall.
The top has the words Cigarettes inscribed with a heart to each corner. The front and back have triple hearts forming an unusual stylised flower. This has lovely riveted edges.
The definition is good as the casket has not been over cleaned that so often happens to copper items. Beneath the copper there is an oak frame.
Offered in good condition. There are a few tiny surface holes to the interior top possibly long dead woodworm but I have treated it anyway.
Height 9cms. Width at base 22cms. Depth at base 12cms.
