Peridot and Diamond Cluster Ring
The hallmark is rubbed but the date letter for 1983 is legible.
The assay office mark is rubbed but, judging by the shape, it is either London or Sheffield.
The gold assay mark for carat is rubbed and illegible but it tests as 18ct.
Size O and 1/2
Yellow Gold.
Approximate dimensions: setting 16.1mm across and 10.2mm at its widest, peridot 10mm x 7.2mm, band 2.3mm wide and 1mm thick, weight 3.5 grams.
The peridot is flanked either side with three round brilliant cut diamonds which are bright and well matched.
A good oval well saturated peridot.
There are surface mark associated with normal use and age.
