Small round diamond set in a star shape in the centre of the plaque.
Size S and 1/2
Maker's mark for Fred Manshaw Ltd, Manufacturing Jewellers, London EC1. (Originally (until c1956) based in Bleeding Heart Yard, Greville Street, London EC1).
Approximate dimensions: signet plaque 8.5mm x 9.5mm, band 6m wide and .7mm thick, weight 4.1 grams.
The green original box has has a velvety finish and R. Hayes(Jewellers) Ltd, 11, Bridge Street, Walsall inside the lid.
The exterior of the box is scuffed but is sound.
The ring has surface marks associated with normal light use and age.
Overall in very good condition.
