Silver Fruit Knife
Sheffield 1897
Maker: Thomas Marples, Arundel Street, Sheffield.
Approximate dimensions: length - closed 7.5cm, open 13cm, blade 5.5cm ( 2.25 ins) weight 17.7 grams.
There are surface marks associated with normal use and age.
The blade does not fully close. Please see photos
W. H. M. inscribed on the cartouche.
The hallmark is clear and easily read.
The blade is straight without any bends.
The mother of pearl handle is in very good condition with no hairlines or chips.
Overall in great condition.
