Cased Silver Sugar Bowl and Tongs.

Birmingham 1896


Maker's mark for Hilliard and Thompson, Spencer Street, Birmingham.


Approximate dimensions: diameter at top 82mm, height 41mm, length of tongs 89mm, total silver weight 65.3g, boxed weight 306g.


There are surface marks associated with normal use and age but the bowl and tongs are in very good condition as is the box.


Lovely ornate design from the end of the Victorian period.
