Serpentine Desk Burr Walnut Ormolu Center Table Satinwood Cabriole Legs 19th C

A mid 19th century burr walnut rectangular double serpentine center table, the satinwood banded top and under tier supported on 4 slender cabriole ormolu mounted legs. The four cabriole legs are each decorated with ormolu mounts which run from an ornate section at the top down to the feet.

There is a Soho London paper trade label attached to the underside.

The size of the table would allow it to be used as a desk or a position in a library.
