Description

A small two door / 2 drawer side table / cupboard dresser base from the Gansu Province of China, c1880 in Locust wood, which has a very similar grain to Chinese elm, but is more dense and heavier, but with a similarly beautiful and tactile grain. The centre ‘muntin’ between the doors is removable allowing access to the entire width of the cupboard space.
